Great bass drum head

Comments:

This is the sound I've been looking for for my medium to low volume music theater/jazz set up. Very warm, and punchy if you tune it that way. The coating wears off quickly so they include a patch, which I haven't used yet. I don't know if that changes the sound or feel at all, but so far I'm loving the head.

Great rock n roll / fusion head on a vintage 14X22

Comments:

Great mix of thump, attack and warmth. We were using a GMAD clear for the low end thud but some beater attack and body in the 100-400s was missing. This is better.

Very Nice Choice

Comments:

I really described this better in my review of the clear head. While I usually prefer coated heads to clear,I found I didn't like the coated EMAD as much as the clear; it sounded just a bit dead to me. I am NO expert, and you wouldn't be making a mistake trying this head. That said, the head works just as described on the Evans site and in YouTube videos.
