Best deal for the $$

Comments:

Wuhan makes decent cymbals and they are the reference standard for tam-tams. These are fantastic cymbals and can really be used professionally as well. No, they don't compare to top lines from the Big 3, but they are also a fraction of the price. For beginners and even a second set, these are the very best quality cymbals from ANY company at this level. You will be shocked at how good they sound. Especially, the hi-hats.

For $100, you can't do better!

Comments:

I needed an inexpensive set for a project portable drum set, but I'd take these to a gig any day. They sound a little bit like the Zildjian Custom Darks on my regular kit. Schools, beginners, projects...you can't go wrong for $100. Thanks, SW, for a great product!

Pleasently surprised.

Comments:

So I got these cymbals for my church as a practice set, so our three drummers (myself included) wouldn't have to lug their cymbals back and forth for practice. The crash was disproportionately dark compared to the other cymbals, but didn't sound too bad and is perfect for rehearsals, i just put a sizzle chain on it and it was perfect. The ride was phenomenal! Great stick definition, with good complexity and didn't get too loud for the small space its in (not to mention it makes a decent crash ride). The hi-hats though....crisp,dark, and had that old-school swing sizzle and chick....so good that we made them our main set for the time being! They cut through the mix just enough, and don't get overpowering when you dig in. All on all was very pleasantly surprised by these cymbals.
