Vibraphone

Comments:

Just recovered my Uncles Vibraphone that he played with the Jerry Goodman Band in the 60's & 70's. It was in the basement covered with junk. It will be really cool when we get all the dust and nicotine off of everything. It was a real bear disassembling and trying to pack in the cases. We finally gave up and laid in the bed of truck to get it home.

Comments:

I used one of these throughout university, then a few years back, bought this from Steve Weiss. He gave me a great price, especially on the shipping. Nothing else sounds like the original Century Vibraphone. Other models or manufacturers may have more notes or adjustable frames, but THIS model is the gold standard for tone. I do wish it were easier to transport, but once you get it to the gig...it's all about the tone.
