I have the 12" and 14", and feel that the versatility offered by these pieces is unmatched. There's a wide timbral and tonal division between registers, not only between zones on an individual gong but between gongs themselves. They project and sustain well, respond well to dynamic playing, distort in a pleasing shimmering manner, and reward finesse with very controllable pitchbending sounds. It's possible to make the pitch bend on the same 'curve' as the dynamic level, continuously getting lower until inaudible. My 14" sounds an octave lower than my 12", and for being so similar in size, these tigers impress me more than other gongs in being able to offer distinctive individual sounds. I'm already eyeing the 13" to round out the set.

Steve and Co. has been in business for how long? King who? Anyway,very nice as always. Just wished it would've pitched downward a little more.
