The following gives a detailed list of required materials and an additional list of suggested materials (a.k.a. optional) to help you smoothly transition into your studies here at SFA. The specific models listed are not required, but are given as suggestions. As you progress through the program, you may be asked to purchase additional music, mallets, and instruments relating to the instruments you will be studying as necessary, but start your freshmen year with all the required materials will mean you have everything needed for your first year of studies at SFA.
